Before You Start
a. A valid email address you can access - this is where your approval and portal sign-in details will be sent.
b. Your National ID or passport number, plus a clear copy of the document as a PDF or photo (JPG, PNG or WEBP).
c. Your current weight in kilograms and the weight class you compete in.
d. You must be 18 years or older on the day you apply. Your date of birth is checked against your ID document during review.
Step by Step
1. Open the registration page
On the KEMMAF website, hover over or tap Register in the main menu and choose Register as Fighter.
2. Read the instructions at the top
The registration page explains what is needed. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required; the rest are optional.
3. Fill in your personal information
Enter your full name (middle name and nickname are optional), email, phone number, date of birth (you must be 18 or older), gender and National ID / passport number. Then click Choose File to upload a copy of your ID - wait for the "Upload complete" message before moving on. Finally select your country and county and enter your address.
4. Fill in your sport information
Choose your competition Level (Amateur or Professional) and your Weight Class - each class shows its official weight range in brackets. Enter your Current Weight. Optionally choose your primary training centre (gym, club or academy), then click the Combat Styles box and select every style you train in.
5. Check the weight-class message
As soon as you enter your weight, the form checks it against the class you picked. A green tick means it fits. If it doesn't, a yellow message explains why and suggests the class that matches your weight - correct the class or your weight before submitting.
6. Accept the terms and submit
Read the Terms and Conditions and KEMMAF Rules of Conduct, tick the box to confirm you agree, then click Submit Registration.
7. Fix anything highlighted
If something is missing or incorrect, a red box at the top of the form lists exactly what needs attention in plain language. Correct each item and submit again.
8. Application Submitted
When your application is received you will see the confirmation page. The KEMMAF team will review your details and documents.
What happens next
a. KEMMAF reviews your application and verifies your ID document.
b. Once approved you receive an email with your licence code (for example FG/MMA/001/26) and your Fighter Portal sign-in details.
c. Sign in to the Fighter Portal to view your licence, download your licence card and keep your details up to date - see the "Fighter Portal Guide"
Frequently asked questions
I already applied with this email address - can I apply again?
No. Each email address can only be used for one application. If you have not heard back, please contact KEMMAF.
My ID upload failed. What should I do?
Make sure the file is a PDF, JPG, PNG or WEBP and try again. A clear photo taken with your phone is fine.
I'm under 18 - can I register?
Not at the moment. Fighter is registration is currently open only to adults aged 18 and over. KEMMAF will announce it if registration opens to younger athletes in future.
What if I turn 18 soon?
Wait until your 18th birthday, then apply. Applications from anyone under 18 on the day they apply will not be approved.
I don't belong to a gym yet.
That's fine - the primary training field is optional. You can be linked to one later.
